1. We are concerned with this application causing several implications for surrounding residents. Firstly the smell that radiates to surrounding residents from any abattoir ,with concerns over waste disposal, effecting local property values for resale. Secondly the possible extra lighting imposed to grow these chickens quickly effecting the normal rural seclusion. Thirdly the possible increase in noise pollution with increased traffic to an already truck affected road surface and the noise of the number of birds being kept.
   Lastly this application if successful is the thin edge of the wedge to have a larger scale operation with success of the business. Although we are not right next door to this proposed application, historical data shows this type of farming affects others that are close by, both financially and quality of life. We object to the approval by council of this application on these grounds.
