Can council please schedule a tree officer to provide a health check for this eucalypt and a future check also to ensure the tree continues in good maintenance and prolonged health. That area would do well with some additional support plantings to be provided by council on the public land as it has lost all of the ground cover and low plants in previous years and the remaining trees are sparse. In the event that a tree is lost in the future, there should be some juvenile trees planted now as part of the long term intentions to retain and improve the habitat.

Thank you CCC Officer Craig Glynn for saving this important tree. It is part of the endangered Umina Coastal Sandplain Woodland species.

Please keep an eye on the health of this tree. We have seen refusal lead to the poisoning of a tree. We do not want this to happen.

Please continue to save significant habitat trees that are within a property boundary too as other councils manage to do.
