I would object if they were cutting down native trees and bush for tennis courts.
Lights would cause light pollution and noise if playing at night. This could cause ongoing neighbourhood complaints.
Installing a tennis court seems out of step with Arthurs Seat country feel.
It’s seems more like a Portsea thing to do.

This is a green wedge area. Tennis courts are for urban areas. Use the courts at Redhill oval to play tennis. Please donot bring your oversized illluminated hobbies to our lovebush area.

Watching the recent works at 740, I thought that a large kitchen garden was being prepared - a wonderful thing to do, but a tennis court with night lights. I do not think this is in keeping with the environs. Sorry - can’t approve this!

Pretty sure you won’t win with the council
I have a court in MM 500 of the boundary fence
Collect up to 20 tennis balls a day.
Lights shine into my living room and the noise is ridiculous ...not to mention the flooding into my property from the court
All the best ...
