There are no documents to review to help understand why this tree should be removed. It is a haven for native birds and I see them gather in this tree all year long for shade and rest. I am certain that possums also use this tree to help them navigate through the neighbourhood and it prevents them from being forced onto the ground where they are pursued by cats and dogs. It is an important neighbourhood asset.
