This is multiple houses gone mad. How can you approve where there was one house in the land to permit 5 houses. The density for the houses around will be unbearable. Council cannot go on approving these type of high density construction, soon we will loose all our open space and will look into our neighbor's bedroom every time we open a window.

In the sense that it is close to the station I can see that might be a good place for high density but five units is too many for the size of block. Even three looks like it would be tight to me.
My main concern is how it will effect parking in the area which is already at a premium. Will there be off street parking? Based on the units near me the norm is to use the garage for storage and park in the street anyway.

It's ridiculous to allow building of 5 units in such a small block, it's already difficult enough to find parking in the street and with potentially at least another 2-5 cars per unit, it would result in the majority of cars parking in the street as most units have very small parking garages.
