    Oh dear, 5 storey development, 43 apartments!! And I am sure the developers have done it all according to code. The ‘code’ needs to be changed to stop this overdevelopment in Boroondara.

    Five stories appears unnecessary and unwarranted for the area. Property values will be impacted and parking will become even more of an issue. Please cos diet something a b. More reasonable and keeping with the area (ie. 2-3 stories). There is also a childcare facility directly across the road. This development is likely to cause a shadow over this facility and cause additional safety risks for our children when coming and going from the facility.

    Agree Erin Thorne, 5 stories appears excessive in this vicinity. 43 apartments allowing for just one car per apartment that’s 43 additional cars around the area, possibly more if you have 2 cars per apartment. Will the car parking be 1 or 2 cars per apartment. If the developers keep the apartments under a certain meterage they only have to provide one car parking space making additional cars park in the street. Will the council have to put in more garbage collection? Do we have enough facilities eg school spaces, childcare, doctors etc to manage the additional people all these ‘high rise’ apartments (refer Allambee Street) will create. Increased traffic. Boroondara is becoming overdeveloped - Richard Wynne MP MUST address the overdevelopment for our area.

    Recent notice that the apartments now increased to 44 (from 37) with Decrease of basement level 3 parking. This makes no sense. Increased apartments and decrease car parking??? Again an enormous strain on Boroondara services. Increased traffic, refuse, and climate. Plant trees - how many trees will be planted?
