I object to clear overdevelopment of a residential block which lower amenity for future inhabitants and local residents. I object to tree removal in an area for the purposes of developing for profit rather than need.

I strongly object to this development. This is a one way street that is used as a rat run to connect the suburb further to the west with the beach, village and primary school .. the street has no room for pedestrian amenity and is very busy with young school children walking and riding to school each day with traffic accelerating up the hill in the opposite direction. More development will put lives at risk. If each property in this street was to capitalise on their land value with three dwellings the social and traffic cost would ruin our neighbourhood. This is not an appropriate zone for medium density development. On-street parking is already crowded and garbage disposal sees the kurb crowded with bins. The development will effect our visual amenity by blocking escarpment views as it shifts forward in the blocks envelope further than existing northern side buildings and by removing some of the few large trees that survive in this area. This is also one of two adjacent development applications that will completely alter the character of our street.

I object to the development of three townhouses on this site. Seaview Terrace is a thin one way street. It currently has overcrowding issues with parking, no pedestrian access from curb to property frontage, and it is a tight street for one way driving and bin collection. It is a street that gets used a lot as it connects the school with the west of Thirroul and multiple other streets. Currently as there is no room for pedestrian access the road is used for prams, bikes and foot. This development is not suitable for this site due to the issues with the street it fronts onto. The street is too narrow - akin to a laneway and therefore while the block may be big enough for three town houses in theory the street it is on and the issues with overcrowding the street already means it will have a major negative impact for not just the residents of the street but people who access the school or use the street to access their homes in other streets.
