I object to a large franchise such as McDonalds being so close to residences which are located in the immediate vicinity of the proposed site. However, as I understand it, it is a foregone conclusion that it will proceed so I urge you to restrict opening hours to lessen the impact of noise, smell and rubbish upon surrounding homes that are within its immediate proximity. It should not be allowed to operate 24/7. It should be closed by 11pm every night and not open for business before 6am.

I think it’s great The Residents of Glebe Hill new this was going to happen when they moved there if they did not want to live near a Shopping Complex maybe they should have looked elsewhere to live.As a former Resident of Glebe Hill that’s why I moved.

I am against this franchise because the general good is considerably outweighed by the bad effects.
As a secondary position, and if approved, the operating hours of this franchise should be limited. I suggest 7.00am to 10.00pm.iand if implemented, it will reduce noise and antisocial activity that is associated with such fast food outlets.
The outlet is likely to require extra policing to assist in managing the anti social activity, which can include theft, assaults, drug trading, graffiti and other.
The community cost will unacceptable though.
