    Sorry to learn of yet more tree removal in Waverley. I wonder if the Pacific Street site has been examined by Council arborists and especially since this site may well be habitat for possums as well as birds.

    PS: I have NOT made any donation to Council or any of its employees. This is the public expression of a more-than-private concern.

    Settle down, all. This is commonly known as a Bird of Paradise plant/shrub. The non native genus is identified in the application title. No possums or birds are being harmed.and it is definitely not a tree.....
