I am interested to see how large this development will be.
Will it be within the approved height restrictions? If not why not.
Given the size of the site one would envisage a large scale complex.
This is a very quiet area of Woody Point with mostly owner occupied dwellings. There are no large unit blocks. There are units on View Street (not high rise) and another building in Hawthorn Street that will adjoin this new development (again only two storeys high)
Any large building on this block will look totally out of place, overshadow neighbouring properties and create a busy street with increased noise (many more people coming and going) and congested street parking, which in turn has an effect on rubbish truck access to bins etc.
Very Disappointing that MBRC is allowing these multiple dwelling developments to takeover the Peninsula given we the rate payers are entitled to "quiet enjoyment" of our properties.

DA tracker (MBRC replacement for PD Online) doesn't work to see exactly what is proposed
