After the shameless and inexplicable demolition of a mid-century modern masterpiece at number 10 Kosciusko Rd, comes yet another density-driven subdivision to further blight the suburban streetscape of North Balwyn.
The lack of area sympathetic design input into these awful 'residences' only serves to underline the lack of architectural imagination in the final product and the disinterest of heritage conservation endemic in council's approvals process.

Mr. Glazebrook is correct in this matter and Balwyn North has been spoilt - it's not the attractive suburb it once was with well maintained homes and gardens.
