We vehemently disagree with a group home being built in our street.
The original group home was never put to the residents..they just moved in and ever since then it has been a logistical nightmare with regards to parking. The carers park wherever they want with no regard to residents. There is increased noise. We live in a cul-de-sac there is no space for extra vehicles etc. We didn't get a say when they moved in...please take into account where this home is positioned. I have no problems with the ladies in care but the amount of extra people that use the road every day is not on.

I’m sorry but it’s a strong no from me. Constantly we are having issues with the workers parking in our own driveway to the point that we have to park out of the street. Every time we have come to them to reason the next day it happens again. One lady had a go at me whilst I was cleaning my car and saying I don’t own the street and for me to move. I see it in the way that they are workers and they should take into consideration that we are the ones paying council rates so they should work around us. The amount of times I have seen them speed around the corner is ridiculous. We have two young families who live in the street it’s unacceptable. Please take this comment into consideration. It’s not the right street to have this sort of facility. The ladies is care so not bother me one bit it’s the pure lack of respect from the workers.

I strongly disagree with this proposal. In recent times (last 5-6 years) the carers have been nothing but disrespectful and inconsiderate in regards to parking and noise.
They are loud at all times of the day and have used our own driveway to park their many cars. No matter how many notes we leave kindly asking them to be more considerate when parking, they still park where ever they please, not in their 5 car drive way.
I would also like to mention that we were never considered or contacted letting us know that there was going to be a care home next to us. I do not think its right for these decisions to be made without considering the residents, especially given that we are in a Cul-de-sac.
