This development went through a vcat process. Any proposed changes need to be compared to what was agreed by the developers and the residents at vcat.

Can a permit approved as directed by Vcat be amended through application to council later?

I’m glad to hear that John, as the amendments listed in this submission summary include those that were outcomes from the VCAT process.
No supporting documentation provided on the council’s registry as yet.
Would it be expected that all objectors from the initial planning permit, receive council communication detailing the amendment application?

Hi all, I’m not sure what the council will do. I spoke to the responsible officer and was told they will not review it until next Wed. I suggest anyone that is concerned should contact the council. I raised the vcat decision and the officer said the developers should not change items that were part of the vcat case but that’s only verbal. The council also said it may not need to be advertised in which case no one will know what’s changed unless you go to council and compare the proposed amendments yourself. I’m not leaving this to chance and will contact council Wed and urge anyone else to do the same if they have concerns. Depending on what the council decides it may pay to have the planners that represented the residents look at the proposed changes and compare it to what was agreed at vcat. It’s interesting that if it doesn’t need advertising this would never have been raised other than on the planning alerts site.

Have been in contact with the Council today. Waiting for a call from Emma at Manningham Council Planning to advise us what amendments have been requested. I strongly believe that any andamendments should be forwarded to all of us who have agreed to changes at VCAT.
