Parks are a key feature and part of the character of Ainslie. They provide amenity and a leafy area for locals to enjoy playing with kids and pets. They are also important for our wildlife. This precedent setting encroachment of our parkland will undermine the beauty of the area. There must be alternative locations for this important housing. I am sure that there are existing public housing locations that could be enhanced to provide for this purpose.
