Why oh why on earth would you remove these. I notice the application was lodged and almost instantly approved. When we now know the consequences of tree loss on the peninsula, Council, you are looking dodgy.

Before removing your trees, stop and think. How will you replace those trees for the benefit of your property or to compensate for their removal for the benefit of your community. Plant replacements and get them established right now while the weather is mild ! It'll be great if you consider the whole picture and not just "remove those trees". Thank you in advance for thinking about the issue.

I hope you are able to replant a more suitable shade tree on your verge and on your property.
