    As a local resident I object to the removal of these established trees. They are community assets in public land. Council should protect these trees on behalf of rate payers.

    I cannot understand how the continued clearing of trees on the Peninsula fires with Council's Climate Change Strategy or the Greener Places Strategy. Please save these trees from destruction. We will be sweltering down in the Peninsula again this summer thanks to the heat island Council have allowed to be created
