Development Application - 18-20 Irving Street, PARRAMATTA NSW 2150 - Section 4.55(1A) modification to DA/843/2018 for demolition, tree removal, lot consolidation and construction of a four (4) storey residential flat building under the provisions of State Environmental Planning Policy (Affordable Rental Housing) 2009 (ARHSEPP) comprising 22 units with basement parking. The proposal is Integrated Development under the Water Management Act 2000. The modification relates to changing the housing tenure from 100% affordable housing dwellings to a mixed housing tenure of 45% affordable housing and 55% market housing.

    We need more affordable housing. The percentage should not be reduced.

    We do need more affordable housing, but not at the risk of losing our history. Surely the two can work hand in hand.
