Considering the continual denuding of trees on the peninsula it should become a criminal offence to remove mature trees. People need to start working around them, not removing them.

Please do not allow the removal of these trees. The peninsula is a heat island as is because too many trees are being removed. It has to stop.

It is very hard to understand why Council continues to enable the removal of trees on such a scale on the Peninsula. These trees are community assets, that provide shade and habitat and increase amenity. Please consider having the tree pruned (if needed), rather than cutting it down. With our warming climate we need all the shade we can get. Thank you.
