The area between Curlewis and Hall st that runs the length of Simpson st is the last vestige of greenery for possums and birdlife in this area. It may seem that it is just 3 small trees but unless they are a danger to someone - and I don’t see how that is possible ) it shouldn’t be ok to pull out 3 mature trees. If there is a good reason for this then they should be obliged to plant 6 new trees. Not that this will in any way replace fully fledged trees. Wildlife as you know requires the big old trees.
