Please do not divide the property in question, there is not enough space on the street for more cars. Other land divisions have not sold. I would like to purchase this as a whole block as I have lived in this street my entire life and would like to see it a a traditional block. Kept with the current pool in ground.
Something needs to be done about clearing the block as too many people has tried and gone into the property to see what happened.
    Concerned resident.

Hi AManda this will be another approved destroy order by Council. Council DO NOT prevent this so called development because THEY NEED the rates to pay the high salaries and the new headquarters. You are best to get neighbours together and send letters to your ward councillor and get them to stick their hand up as to what views they have. They earn around $24k per annum, get them working for you or find out their views and remember them when you vote in the next election. Dividing our average sized housing blocks into half blocks is destroying our streetcapes, destroying what little bio diversity there is, greatly increasing street congestion and is greatly lowering our quality of life. Council should be maintaining the standard at the very least and doing something. I have not heard them refuse an application; be mindful of that and be mindful of what the potential disaster that awaits your street and mine in Para Hills.
