My objections to the proposed medical centre at 350 Warburton Highway Wandin North:

    1. The location is too close to neighbouring homes.

    2. The car parking will be inadequate and overflow outside nearby residential homes.

    3. Traffic going in and out will be dangerous because of the hill.

    4. It is too close to the busy popular Warburton Trail.

    5. A medical centre already exists within walking distance on Clegg Road.

    6. Seville Medical Centre is only five minutes away from the proposed site.

l would not like this permit to go ahead, as there is not adequate parking ,also there is a post office next door which is very busy ,if the parking spills out onto the road, people living in the vicinity cannot see to exit their property safely .With the Warburton trail just down the road the foot path is always busy and the extra traffic coming in and out would be dangerous to pedestrians .l feel that this type of business would not be suited in this location.

I agree with the above comments on the medical practice at 350 Warburton h w wandin north. I am one of the residents effected by this proposal. We have great difficulty entering Warburton highway as it is with people picking up mail deliveries from the post office it is hard to see cars coming around the bend from Seville. The car park across the road is usually full during the day, and the three car parks further down near Edmond Cres. Are used by residents. I also object to the late trading hours as this is basically a residential area. If it goes ahead as planned it won’t be long before an accident happens .

I object strongly, The location is to close to neighbouring homes. I live within very close proximity and it is dangerous enough trying to get out of my drive way during school pick up with everyone going to the post office and then having to struggle with people going to the doctors and the chemist. This stretch of road is suppose to be a 60 zone and I can assure you this is not the speed that is adhered to.
People already do u turns from the post office putting a surgery there is only going to add to the traffic hazard that it already is.
There is already a doctors surgery and a chemist in Close proximity also.

I am worried of a few issues such as:
    ~visibility when exiting driveways.
my husband and i have nearly been in a accident multiple times due to being unable to see oncoming traffic with cars parked either side of our driveway due to the post office.
    ~blocked drive way
too many time to count i have been unable to exit my driveway due to cars parked over it even though there is signs that state no parking.
    ~retaining wall
there is a fallen down retaining wall between out properties where a proposed single car space will be. If there is more traffic and a parking spot in the car park, the dirt will erode away and easily cause a land slide blocking driveways. this is my biggest concern.
