1. I see that five signs are to be placed on this excessive 24-storey tower, and that four of them are to be illuminated.

   I will resist the urge to suggest suitable wording for said signs.

   I object to illuminated signs. This building overpowers everything in the neighbourhood with its outrageous height and bulk and nothing more needs to be done to draw attention to it.

2. The proposed signs for "Sign area 1" and "Sign area 2" seem appropriate in scale for location and wayfinding.

   The other signage proposed – all higher-level illuminated signs – seem excessively large and intrusive for a residential building in a residential area.

   In particular, the nine-metre wide "Deicorp" sign ("Sign area 5") seems unnecessary. This is the developer's brand, so it serves no wayfinding or business identification purpose. Deicorp already has several such large, top-of-tall-building signs in the immediate area which, I believe, already constitute visual clutter. This is not "business identification". It's an attempt at dominant branding of our locality.

   This sort of signage is appropriate in a central business district. I do not think it's appropriate in a residential area.

   If there is to be high-level signage, I think "Permulwuy" or some other locally-relevant designation would be more appropriate.
