Good to see community scpaces being created and improved and particulalry making them accessible also.

So good to see something for the community being built here. I strongly approve.

While I would love some benches and shade trees, it would be great to keep it as a clear green space. I love seeing kids (and adults) just kicking footy/soccer balls around, playing backyard cricket and frisbee - because, as it is, there’s space for all - and enjoying a bit of plain old open grass away from main roads.

This so-called 'Community Space' is nothing but an oversized barbeque verandah. Why take away all the green space we have just been given? I also object to the extension of the children's play area. Please can we just have a tidy up of our green space that we have finally acheived?

When upgrading the Western terrace gardens, please keep the existing terraces, repairing any damage, plus improving the soil and additional planting. The existing retaining walls have a lovely old fashioned character and it would be a shame to lose them. Please also keep the roses and Rondelitia (Rogiera amoena). A mix of edible and flowering plants would be great.

Extending/upgrading the children’s playground is sorely needed and I hope the design will move away from the bright coloured pre-fabricated style of the existing one to a more natural style. I agree with previous comments that the existing retaining walls and terrace gardens are lovely and quite unique and an important historical feature of the area. Restoring this area would ensure the beautiful aesthetic of the park.

Support this low-rise community building and retention of existing open space.
