Is there a chance the owners could keep the established trees in the new landscape design? All too often, contractors demolish every single thing on a site when with a bit of planning, trees can be preserved for shade and enjoyment by all.
All Peninsula residents are encouraged to remember the huge number of trees that have been demolished, making it (officially by heat-mapping done by Council), 4 degrees hotter than other areas. Any gardens, shrubs and especially shade trees need to be valued more now and into the future.
