Respectfully request that this is the sort of house you should be saving, not demolishing. It isn't only that it's history, but it is beauty. Anybody who walks past one of those old houses with a proper garden is immediately mentally uplifted. And you are not just killing a house and a garden. You are killing something that is part of a whole. The whole should be protected. It is definitely greater than the sum of its parts and equally to kill one part is to do far more damage than just killing that part.
