I do not consider this to be an appropriate location for a 12 room boarding house. The impact on surrounding properties and close amenities, including Clementson Park, should be carefully thought through.

Please ensure locals are sent notice of this DA-145/2020. Attempts to get this development approved have been going on for years. They probably are trying to slip it in during the current upheaval in the hope it slips through the pandemic cracks.

I object, I don’t think it’s appropriate to have more boarding house in this area,
considering how compact this area is already and already many existing boarding house near by
Bondi junction is a busy area but everything needs to be balanced or it would just lose its beauty
    Please considering the local here

I do not agree with this application, it is not in keeping with the character of the area, it is overdevelopment, the FSR is over, there will be issues with parking and traffic congestion.

The local community has previously raised significant concerns regarding this development over many years, and these same concerns have not been addressed or resolved in this proposal. It's important that local people are fully consulted. The proposed FSR for this development is excessive - going from 0427: 1 to 1.40: 1 and shows that the developer is just interested in packing in as many people as possible to gain profit. The scale of this development will visually dominate surrounding houses and lead to noise and other complaints. There are already many boarding houses in the local area so the justification for another large scale (12 bedroom) development is unclear. A number of the items listed in the DA proposal are unclear e.g. energy, sustainability, water etc.

I object to this application on the grounds the development will lead to overcrowding, excessive noise and parking congestion as the site is next door to an existing boarding house. This strip is already overcrowded with garbage overflowing on collection days and noisy parties every weekend. Council needs to acknowledge the concerns of local residents who object to this area being turned into a low rent backpacker area.

I object to this development as the floor ratio is excessive for such a small spot. There is insufficient allowance for parking, and the noise impact has not been appropriately considered.
