TWO HUNDRED & NINETY NINE DWELLINGS! Even if only every second dwelling had one car, that's an additional 150 cars associated with this additional massive building in this high density populated area!
I know from past experience that VCAT only considers traffic impact on the borders of the Lot under consideration so there is no consideration of the additional traffic impact on the surrounding property owners/businesses.
When will the authorities force new facilities be made to provide onsite parking for a realistic number of cars, including visitors, let alone assessing the impact of the increased traffic density in the surrounding streets?
