We see no objection to the building proposal providing it respects drainage easements (as it appears to) and the 100 year flood projection.
Our concern is with the construction phase. The property is at the very bottom of the dip in Gollan Ave. This road carries a lot of traffic particularly at peak times. Very few people observe the speed limits and the slopes mean that at this point vehicles can be travelling at some speed. The slope on the eastern side seriously obstructs visibility for vehicles travelling east to west. Getting out of driveways can be hazardous.
Our concern is that construction vehicles etc will excacerbate the problems and we suggest strict protocols and restrictions need to in place and observed during the construction phase to ensue public safety and the safety of construction workers..
