Why are these protected trees being destroyed?

  2. David Grant commented

We are loosing tree canopy at a rapid rate. These are significant to the environment and should not be sacrificed for a developers avarice.

  3. Bruce D Grundy commented

Whitehorse and Melbourne are being clear-felled as desertification turns Australia into the Sahara. Councilors and the rate-payers' employees must protect the area, rather than the profits of distant developers.

  4. Maureen Hart commented

What is the point in having tree protection if it is not adhered to?
Developers are turning our residential areas into concrete jungles while those who are employed to protect the environment give into their demands.
    Where are their priorities?
