Picton didn't need a McDonalds in the first instance and to this day the carparks behind the bowling club and thru the park is scattered with McDonald rubbish and every road leaving Picton.

If council hadn't approved this in the first place local businesses could have done so much better and it has done nothing to help reduce the growing obesity problem. Fast food chains have their place and it is generally on a highway for travellers.

There would no benefit to the community

It would only attract people with nothing to do and increase the amount of vandalism and with no police in Picton to monitor or protect our community

As the majority of local residents didn’t want McDonald’s in Picton in the first place, and our objections and concerns were ignored or dismissed- we certainly object to it being open any more hours than it is now.
