1. The picket fence has gaps that let the pollution and diesel particulate flow straight to The children playing in the playground right next to the Nepean Highway.
   The link below is to the research showing the asthma and allergies that children suffer caused by childcare centres next to main roads.

   If the picket fence was replaced with a high solid fence, this would reduce somewhat the health damage to the children.
