There is overdevelopment on this hillside. Too many huge buildings and excavations and retaining walls. There was a landslip from Gardyne St further down the hill about twenty years ago which landed in the middle of the night on 417 in upper level of Bronte Rd. A miracle no one was killed. Everyone seems to have forgotten about it. Meanwhile the narrow upper level of Bronte Rd is becoming increasingly dangerous. Lined with feral fountain grass which is impossible to remove. this fountain grass is now escaping into Bronte Park. And fence along the road has only been repaired in one section. Other parts of the fence need repairs too. And a big pothole outside 393 Bronte Rd making it very difficult for cars to navigate.
Why construct a swimming pool when Bronte pool is a few minutes walk away?
