The subject of this DA, “Proposed Regularisation of Existing Animal Boarding and Training Establishment” is utterly misleading and inaccurate and attempts from the outset to legitimize an illegal business that has been operating since July 2019. The Central Coast Council issued a Proposed Order (Notice/167/2019) to cease the operation of the intensive dog breeding business in October 2019.
This DA should more accurately be titled “Proposed Regularisation of Unlawful Animal Boarding and Training Establishment".
This is not a simple upgrade of an existing machinery shed but an attempt to legitimize an unauthorized business of breeding and keeping upto 30 small puppy dogs in cages until sold.
    This application should be rejected
