We strenuously object to this application.
Council this application MUST be rejected. This is NOT an ePathway. It is a monstrous problem of intensive residential accommodation.

9 levels is not acceptable. Completely out of character for the surrounding area.
61 bedrooms crammed into tiny units that look more like motel accommodation or is AirBnB the intention.
Each bedroom with its own ensuite or bathroom is not family living.
39 car spaces with 5 visitor is completely inadequate for what is likely to be the number of vehicles bought to the building.

The parking in Palm Beach is beyond capacity now.
This building application is reckless having nil regard for the lack of parking space in the neighbourhood. Jefferson Lane has no parking space available to absorb more vehicles parking and Thirteenth Avenue and Gold Coast Highway are at capacity day and night in this area.

Get real and reject this application that is too big for this small area.

    This is just ludicrous.
There is so much construction going on in Palm beach we have no footpath in Jefferson Lane for children and parents to safely go for a walk. So if we cannot walk we need to drive therefore we add more cars to the already busy roads.
This is verging on a serious safety issue for the community. Please note that this email is a paper trail to the council and if even one life is lost due to the excessive residential construction will the council be libel ? I don’t know, it seriously is a concern and our councillors and Lord Mayor are voted in with the trust that they will keep their constituents’ wellbeing and safety at the forefront of their decisions. I see no evidence that this is so. I

I strongly object to the scale and density of the this DA proposal.
It is again oversizing for what is a Laneway where pedestrians, kids, cyclist need to gain access to homes already made so busy with the overdevelopment of the Jefferson Laneway.
This crazy tolerance of development has to stop as it is totally ruining Palm Beach.

As many other people have already noted, there is already no parking for owners or visitors without adding a substantial sized development as this on a small block.

As per the 1 Jan legislation Council is now required to disclose information on the amount of infrastructure charges collected and how this money is being spent.
It's only greed ruining our community as there is no other benefit we are seeing with the developer fees levied.
