Due to recent severe weather events my local area has seen a series of tree uprooting and property damage due to tree branches and whole trees falling. The tree located on my property is a council protected gumtree which we've known to shed large branches. This presents a risk to our property and to the neighbourhood cars parked in proximity, which typically aren't our vehicles. We've applied to have the tree removed previously but this was denied due to the protected status. It has been some time since its last pruning. Also the root system has started to disrupt the outlet of our plumbing system.
