    The examples of underground basements in the proposed refer to townhouses where 4/ 5 families live for car storage, not one family. The driveways for both 10 Wrights Rd and 16 Wrights Rd take up one drive way to accommodate the underground parking; 8 Wrights Rd would like to take up approximately 3 parking spaces for an extended driveway that comes at the detriment of local residents and visitors to the community.

    With Community of Christ church across the road, a new block of units and increased visitors due to proximity to Victoria Road shops such as IGA and main bus stops, parking is already difficult for local residents.

    The existing driveway can already accommodate 2 + cars with capabilities for turning around. At busy times there has been more than 6 cars in the driveway so it seems unusual to downgrade, particularly when adding extensions such as a studio will likely bring more traffic to the area if rented out.
