    COFFS Harbour Council
I would like to indicate to the council that I am opposed to the proposed development in Queen St.
The proposed development does not meet the requirement of the WTCMP.
Also it does not fit into the needs of the local community.
The density of this proposal does not match the density of the surrounding area. This enormous building will overlook a large number of homes and block the views of many of these homes.
The style of development not match the village feel to the Woolgoolga community.
Where are the results of the community consultation that should occur before this proposal was taken to the council for approval!
The nature of this development will negatively impact on car parking and pedestrian traffic of the immediate area

    Dear Sir,

I would like to indicate to the Council my opposition to the proposed development in Queen Street, Woolgoolga. I fully endorse Earle Page's comments in their entirety. Developments of this scale have no place in the village setting of the town. The development should be refused. To do otherwise would permanently change the village character of Woolgoolga.

I strongly object to the proposal for the following reasons:
    1. The height of the proposed building makes it entirely unsuitable for Woolgoolga.
    2. It is absolutely inconsistent with the stated aim of the Woolgoolga Master Plan to maintain a village atmosphere.
    3. It is Council's responsibility to deliver acceptable community outcomes.
    4. The building is high density and if approved could open the gate as far as further high density applications go.
5.An extra 37 units will significantly add to traffic and parking congestion.

I strongly appose this proposed development on the corner of Queen and Market Street Woolgoolga. Firstly, the height is completely out of sorts for our beautiful village of Woolgoolga. It will also obstruct the ocean views of existing properties, and devaluating them greatly.
Car parking is another issue . I strongly believe that the 40 spaces allocated, would not be taking into account the parking for visitors to these 37 units?
Woolgoolga doesn’t need a 37 unit block, especially in the heart of Woolgoolga.
I am not against progress , but this would be totally out of sorts and unnecessary for the area.

    NOTE to commenters:
This is not for the multi-storey building at 22-24 Market Street, Woolgoolga.
    Those submissions closed April 15.

This is just for a modification to the EAT STREET event application.
