I live on a residential property next door and my concern is placing a Service Station literally at the end of the runway and underneath the flight path across the road from Moorabbin Airport.
There have already been two plane crashes close by. One in Scarlet Street and one at 240 Lower Dandenong Road, a few doors down. If one crashed into a petrol station it would be catastrophic!!

I share the same concern as Louise. Imagine a plan crash there!!! Would the airport consider changing the flight path? Dont think so.

Doesn't sound like an ideal situation to have petrol and diesel storage tanks in a flight path. Surely council needs to think of the implications and refuse the permit.

Planes do crash sometimes.... touch wood
