I have the following objections to this application:
    1. Over-development of the site which is in an area of large houses surrounded by open spaces/gardens. A commercial site such as that proposed is out of character for the area and will destroy the amenity for neighboring residents.
    2. The proposed development would create traffic hazards in a small street such as Smiths Road, which has no areas for parking or waiting of vehicles or footpaths.
    3. The loss of vegetation including large native Eucalypts is also out of character for the area and would further decrease the amenity.

The entry and exits seem to be on Smiths Rd. This road is already very narrow. Increased traffic, double parked cars, u-turns on Reynolds rd and backed up traffic on Reynolds road as well as increased traffic on Smiths Rd and Serpells Rd is what will definitely occur. This is not a suitable location for such a business. The council needs to do we what is right for the community and the council needs to take note of the residents.
