What is the owners objective. I suggest that every where else in Australia its called a sub division. This hasn't fully arrived in Ipswich , the next step is of course squeezing another dwelling on this block to make the present dwelling staring at a building with total loss of amenity.Next to Moodai reserve further impingement on and looking at wild life having to cope with another sub division. It is of course tragic to see a doubling of blocks like these and concomitant vast increase in population The old plan is being used for every type of development .What I'd like to see is the full reasoning behind this subdivision and for that matter every other type of development. i call on the powers of the Council to justify a massive increase in population. This "small " development is of course small bikkies compared with other massive developments destroying bush etc with a caviler approach to development which is leading to the destruction of our environment. What can the planners do to put a brake on inappropriate development? To recount , we have duplexs, anxiarly units and massive developments Brentwood "forest " estate, squeezing people in like sardines. The big blocks feature a complete destruction of bush and habitat. The forest used by Avid [?] and the following developers. If its zoned residential under the present plan every type of development is possible, sorry probable. The massive developments like Brentwood "forest" estate is a taste of things to come. The euphemism of forest is clearly what local residents fear. "forest" indeed. The only forest there was smashed by D9s. subdivisions is the thin edge of the wedge.Walking along columbia drive Avid"s signs emphasize that people should come and buy themselves some land .To the council planners. we all know that the council must approve developments like these, You have to laugh sorry cry when you see inappropriate sub division like this one and another planning application close to the cart track, Jones Rd. and the doubling of population How much time and money will it take to turn Jones rd into a safe and functional feeder into the junction from hell, in Goodna. There is no thought about this .My long standing invitation to Mr Chamello to come and see Jones Rd and Goodna , the Junction from hell., And so back to Katandra Crescent. All around this block are "suitable" blocks for sub division .Let it be clearly stated that development in Bellbird pk sub division are not welcome along with duplexs and ancillary units , Our objections, with comment and detail are just an unwelcome part of the process In tray to out tray at the speed of light . The Ipswich city Council encapsulates the above statement and i quote ,"They "MAY" consider your submission when they decide whether to approval this application" Who thought that up? Very creative, not. They then feel that they have "Dealt with this part of a deeply flawed system" When the present planners et al move into their dotage the mess they created we will have to clean up, sorry put up with. A once unique suburb no different to the suburb now and into the future like Spring field. Residents i have said before that your submissions may be a catharsis for some and like the little boy with his finger in the dyke for others. What would be a massive requirement inserted in the system involves a summary by the Council of why sub divisions like Katandra Crescent through to massive developments like Brentwood "forest " estate and God forbid 34 hectares like Eugene St destroyed .You"d think that Brentwood "forest" estate would be a warning for all. Who speaks for koalas, rare birds, fish and their habitats ? They will be driven some where.as their habitat is destroyed. This application is very close. Its hard having more dollars than sense,
