While I understand the important role boarding houses play in helping people in many ways, this plan brings a level of uncertainty to who will be in the street which currently has a number of young families. A boarding house for 7 people has potential for anti social behaviour. The house will also only be 100 meters from a pub The Lewisham Hotel which wouldn’t be ideal. Also currently very few of the houses here have off street parking, available street parking is important, 7 new residents will put strain on this parking availability.

As a resident on this street I have some concerns about this application in regards to change of use to a boarding house. The concerns relate to:
    1. Significant increased pressure on parking for existing residents. Will there be on-site parking provided for the 7 new units?
    2. It is not disclosed as to whether the boarding house will be general or assisted. Will this information become available for public comment?
