As a resident that uses the retail strip of the beautiful suburb of Lakemba, I do not support the demolition of the existing structures to construction a two story boarding houses. Boarding Houses do not assimilate the look and feel of the suburb. I am concerned if a boarding house is built, the street will have behavioral issues and increases in anti social behaviour. Currently Croydon Street has a private school and an early childhood education centre. I am concerned the children of Lakemba will be at risk.
