There is no need for more housing within Aldinga, before south road and surrounding roads are upgraded first.Housing developers take note:
South road into Aldinga between 4 and 6pm on week days has become a bottle neck due to the poor or lack of oversite by council on highway improvements in the last few years, and there has been an increase in motor accidents resulting in several local deaths.
To allow another housing development before upgrading public foot paths and roads, will add further congestion for through traffic around the area.
Public schools upgrades are necessary, first.Council please review the discussion on highways ,education and Aldinga beach access.'First.'
Finally more people trying to park on the beach ,will probably result on the beach being closed within 5 years.
Local residents please say no to more housing and let's set a precedent for future developments and get it right first time , the right way.Lets show how it could be done for all town planning.
Revenue raising by building houses first is not the answer and gains nothing.Infrastructure will generate the interest to build in the area.
I say No to the planning application.
