This house is known as 'the Captain's House' because it was owned by one of the original settlers. It has a platform on top of the roof that was used for communications between Parramatta and Sydney pre: telephone.

I was hoping that it would have been restored when it was purchased as all of the original veranday iron was still on site, as well as a well and driveway for carraiges. To see it built over was heart breaking. The original building still had the original wooden staircase, etc.

This is worth preserviing, not being further converted. Please have mercy for this priceles architeture.
