Existing permit allows: Construction of two or more dwellings on a lot in the General Residential Zone (a three-storey building accommodating dwellings and associated car parking in a basement level) in accordance with the endorsed plans. Proposed amendments: The subject property is in a Principal Public Transport Network (PPTN). Amendment VC148 changed Clause 52.06 (Car parking) to reduce car parking requirements for land that is (wholly or partly) within 400 metres of public transport on the Principal Public Transport Network (PPTN). In the case of the subject property this changed the requirement of car spaces 'For visitors to every 5 dwellings for developments of 5 or more dwellings' from One to Zero. As such I request the Amendment of the existing planning permit at the subject property as follows: Remove Condition 16 of the permit that states that there needs to be at least 3 visitor parking spots. The existing Three Visitor Spots will remain as parking spots, but be allocated as follows: 1 of the visitor parking spots to be allocated to Apartment 5 1 of the visitor parking spots to be allocated to Apartment 6 1 of the visitor parking spots to remain as a visitor parking spot
