The increase in traffic in this area needs to be considered as this street is already at capacity. This amount of in-fill is not appropriate for this location. 3 residences on the one property will contribute to an unreasonable amount of increased traffic.

I'm a local concerned about over-development in the area but don't have the expertise or time to analyse every multi-dwelling DA that comes to council. I would however like to submit my opinion that if there are any exemptions being asked for on this DA that the development should be knocked back. We already have very developer friendly planning code, so it is of my opinion that any exemption on multi dwelling DA's should not be entertained. If the DA is compliant in every aspect and meets the desired charter statement for the area in relation to form and materials, then I have no objection. I see at least one multi dwelling DA a week in this area and have no time to do the due diligence required to find exemptions or find where the design has not conformed to the code and not disclosed.
