It is sad, to see a magnificent species of palm as old and as gracious as the home and garden it resides in to be viciously removed from where it was planted some 100 years ago.
Is the palm tree sick and dying and poses a threat of falling?
Does it stand in the way of a proposed “ pool “ ( bathtub).
Or, is it in the way of another extension to the already large home?
Is it an “ eyesore “ to the owners?
Whatever the reason, the ubiquitous Palm Tree in the Haberfield Garden Estate is part of “ the Federation Garden” and should remain if it poses no threat to neighboring homes and owners.
