    OBJECTION 3868/2017/DA-CW/A

This DA must be refused because it will impact important remant forest trees- this section of trees have collectively been bio certified therefore any removal will undermine confidence in the biocertification scheme and render the scheme worthless

Mount Gilead has been identified as a critical koala crossing by the NSW Chief Scientist and as such no more trees should be removed and the koala protected not fragmented

De watering the dam will lead to flooding in Noorumba Reserve which should not be permitted

The proponent is damaging the ecosystem of south west Sydney with the major vegetation and tree removal, de watering, site remediation and bulk earthworks. The area is suffering from urban heat and flooding extremes and the council must take these health issues seriously

I have not made a donation to any councillor or political party
