Is this application seriously being considered! If this business is honestly reliant on the edition of even more pokie machines, then this is not a business model that should be supported. Surely any organisation charged with representing the community could not possibly prioritise the commercial interests of such an organisation over the undeniable and tragic cost to the community in general?

  2. Say not to more Pokies in Darebin commented

Totally agree with BC. How much does the Darebin library outlay to try and divert people from the pokies with its late night library service with free coffee etc (great idea!). We do not need anymore pokies in Darebin and Council needs to support this.

This is ridiculous. There are enough pokies in the area already. We don't need anymore. If the RSL needs to keep resorting to stealing, cheating and lying to the people they are trying to support then they should not continue in their business.
