   Dear Paul

   Could you please send details of planning application P19/1963 - removal of Pine Trees.
   The planning application on the shire website did not mention what is planned for that space and what the trees will be replaced with.

2. I'd like to know the reason for so many trees to be removed. Are they unhealthy or becoming dangerous?

   Local pines provide shelter for parrots and wildlife, and they also add to the natural character of our peninsula community. I'd like to know what is planned for this space.

   I've looked at the Balnarring Township Structure Plan adopted by Council on 19 August, but saw no specific mention of why 196 trees would be removed from Civic Ct Reserve.

   I'd like to request more information, please.
